For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.
Rebecca had the inspired vision to found Providence Academy and to cultivate it into a place unlike any other: an oasis where families could partner with teachers to raise up the next generation of Christ-centered leaders.
No one embodied that mission more fully than she did. She was family-centered, student-centered, and, above all, Jesus-centered. Though she was the heart of our school in many ways, Rebecca always pointed beyond herself to the more foundational Heart of our school. She pointed to Jesus, the One who had so captured her heart and given her the mission to create our school.
What a gift she was to everyone around her. What a gift her legacy remains.
Rebecca, we love you, and we will see you again in the resurrection.

Our chief end is to disciple our students’ whole person, teaching them to love great books, to enjoy God’s majesty and creation, and to embrace truth, goodness, and beauty.
