Providence Academy purchased 10 acres of land from Generations Church at Sabine Creek Ranch in Rockwall County! We are building a new legacy campus for our Upper and Lower School students!
New Campus
At our legacy event, Mrs. Mauldin unveiled the plans for our future campus at Sabine Creek Ranch to much applause. We plan to build a completely new school for both our Upper and Lower School students! The new campus will include 28 classrooms for grades K4-12, a gymnasium and performing arts space, a large fellowship hall, a fenced playground area and basketball courts, ample parking, enhanced security, dedicated classrooms for music, science, art, a library, and much more! We all cheered when Mrs. Mauldin highlighted the space for a future football stadium!
Construction began in the Fall of 2024, and slated to open Fall 2025!
Building a Legacy FAQ’s
How much money do we need to raise?
The total cost of the project is $11,627,233. Every dollar we don’t have to borrow positions us better for the future.
What is a campaign pledge?
A campaign pledge is a promise to contribute a specific amount of money toward our new campus over the next three years.
How long do I have to fulfill my campaign pledge?
Campaign pledges need to be completed by 2026. Campaign pledges will be made before the end of 2023, which gives us four tax years to fulfill our pledges.
How will the new campus affect tuition?
The new campus is not currently forecasted to impact tuition. The financing of the new campus is projected to work by intentional and incremental growth at the school. However, tuition could change due to operational or other academic expenses unrelated to the new campus.
What should I be doing now?
Please pray about how your family can contribute to our Building A Legacy campaign. Attend the Legacy Event on November 17th to pray with us and learn more about this exciting time for our school!
Who can I contact for additional questions?
Please email questions to legacy@providencelions.org.
What is the timeline for the new campus?
The ground breaking of our new campus took place in September 2024 and plan move into our new campus Fall of 2025.
Will every grade level get a new space?
Yes! Grades K4-12 will enjoy brand new accommodations at our new campus. The entire school will be housed together in one building, giving all students access to the incredible facilities including a gymnasium, a full stage for student productions, a kitchen, outdoor athletic courts, a covered playscape, and so much more!
How large could the school become in the new campus?
The new campus can support two sections of each grade level for grades K4-12. Our dream is to thoughtfully grow and serve up to 450 students and their families in our permanent legacy campus.
Will the class sizes change?
No. Our accreditation by UMSI (University-Model® Schools International) limits the size of each class. We will continue to follow these requirements.
