Laura Kuban

I became a Christian at the age of nine, and even before that time the Lord had begun to impress upon my heart the love of teaching. Answering His call, I attended East Texas Baptist University where I received my Bachelor of Science in elementary education with a minor in mathematics. After college, I taught for 13 years in public school from 1st to 5th grades. My husband Mark and I were blessed with a son, at which time I became a stay at home mom. When our son reached school age, we began to pray for God’s guidance regarding schooling. Having both grown up attending Christian School we knew the value of Christian education. For the last five years, I have been teaching and my son has been attending a local private Christian school. After much prayer, we have been led to Providence Academy. Our family looks forward to being an integral part of the school….
