Thank you for your interest in Providence Academy in beautiful Rockwall, Texas. Established in 2009 as a Classical, Christian, University-Model® school, we gladly serve communities in the Lake Ray Hubbard region and beyond.
Our school is Christ-centered and unique in that it requires a strong teacher and parent partnership in the education process. Students attend school twice a week in a traditional classroom setting and work with one or both parents from home on alternate days to complete assignments as well as long-term projects planned by one of our degreed classroom teachers. The combined strength of devoted parents at home and highly trained teachers at school create an educational atmosphere in which students thrive and develop a passion for learning in a Christ-centered environment.
In addition to classically training our students, we strive to differentiate ourselves through other innovative teaching techniques such as integrating technology, group projects, and hands-on lessons that prepare our students for a highly competitive world. The educational experience at Providence Academy also offers specific lesson planning designed to maximize and encourage different learning styles in order to help every student be successful using their God-given natural talents and abilities. This style requires more tailored planning and preparation by our passionate teaching staff to produce challenging learning activities that promote higher level thinking.
Most importantly our goal is help facilitate the raising up of young men and women who are communicators for Christ. Young people like Philippians 2:15 states who will shine like stars in the sky as they hold firmly to the word of life.
